Home and School and its amazing parent volunteers take so much pride in helping out our school, students, staff, and Sunshine families.

For us, every new school year is a place to bring the community together and raise money for our school.

Our funds collected help pay for:

  • Classroom needs and materials
  • Our beehive
  • Updating our outdoor space
  • Student activities
  • School-wide activities and holidays
  • Equipment
  • Earth Day
  • Staff Appreciation Week

 

We also volunteer for:

  • Track and Field
  • Terry Fox Run
  • Bingo Night
  • Field Trips
  • Fun Run
  • and many more activities when the school would need our help.

 

All money raised goes right back into the school to help support any needs the students or teachers may have. 

We are very proud of our school and students and will continue helping out any way possible. There are no set hours to volunteer; anything helps out, and everything is appreciated, whether it’s at an event or behind the scenes.

Money raised also helps in creating fun events and activities for the whole school in which to participate. Please look out for our newsletter every 2 months, and if you would like to volunteer or reach out you can do so by communicating with:
